Star-Max's medium duty griddle provides superior cooking performance, while saving you up to 30% on energy costs. This 36" long electric griddle's 1" steel plate with hard chrome surface provides a thorough, even heat distribution for consistent cooking results, and since the chrome surface is non-porous, food taste transfer is eliminated. The chrome surface and durable double wall construction reflects heat inward, reducing radiant heat to keep your kitchen cooler and save you energy costs. The throttling thermostat inserted into the griddle plate, right above the cooking surface, adjusts from 150 to 450 degrees F, providing a quick response to temperature change. The cool-to-touch stainless steel front makes it safe to operate this griddle's heavy-duty metal temperature controls, and the 4-1/2" high wrap-around splash guard protects against grease and spills. A 4,000 watt heating element every 12" of cooking surface allows for fast recovery time. The sealed chromium surface eliminates food build-up for carefree clean up. This countertop griddle's sturdy 4" legs conveniently adjust to match the height of other Star-Max equipment in your kitchen.
