Scotsman SCN60GA-1SS Description
To extend service life in outdoor environments, the Scotsman SCN60GA-1SS Brilliance™ ice maker's cabinet and front are constructed of rugged stainless steel. This material avoids rusting, scratching, and corroding and can be wiped clean as needed. For optimal sanitation, key machine components are treated with a silver-based, AgION® agent that inhibits microbial growth. This unit is equipped with a control panel that provides updates on water and power status in addition to cleaning reminders.
The Scotsman SCN60GA-1SS undercounter ice maker features a self-closing door to preserve cold air and a 26-pound-capacity bin that's illuminated for quick and easy ice retrieval. It produces chewable nugget ice at a maximum rate of 85 pounds per day; this ice type is ideal for serving in iced tea, lemonade, and soft drinks. This air-cooled unit uses R-134A refrigerant and is designed with a gravity drain through which condensate flows, meaning it requires installation near a floor drain that can accept runoff. Overall, this machine measures 14 7⁄8 inches wide by 22 3⁄4 inches deep by 34 3⁄8 inches high.

Nugget Ice Maker
Received Nugget Ice Maker via freight truck. Delivery went well. No damage to box or unit inside. Unit is well packed with protective film on stainless steel surfaces. Protective film was hard to remove because screws were installed after film so there is a layer of film under the screw heads. Loosened screws to get the film removed. Got icemaker installed under counter with an inline filter. In addition, I had to change orientation of the door swing, so this took a little longer. Now for the awesome part..... After turning on the unit for the first time, it started making nugget ice in about 5 minutes. I discarded the first half day of ice to flushing the water line and filter. I am using around 5-10 pounds of ice every day and the unit is working perfectly. A wise person once said "Life is better with Nugget Ice". I truly agree!
