This ice maker is designed to work with a remote condenser, which will need to be purchased separately. Operating with a remote condenser enables this unit to produce a large amount of ice with minimal noise and heat disruption in the customer-facing area of the business. With heavy-duty stainless steel construction, it withstands heavy use and resists dents, scratches, and rust.

To prevent gearbox strain, the Scotsman FME2404RLS-32 ice maker operates with a monitoring system that automatically shuts off the system if the gear box is overloading. Preventing no-water and low-water failures before they occur, this machine also features an electrical conductivity water sensor. With large, self-aligning spherical roller bearings and a double-flight auger, the system stands up under heavy production, and the gear box has a direct-drive design for reduced wear.
