This unit can produce as much as 450 pounds of soft flake ice per day in a small operational footprint; ice production depends on the ambient conditions, producing more if air and water are cooler. Flake ice can be used to present seafood and produce or in healthcare settings as a safe option for patients.

The Scotsman F0522A-1 ice maker can be cleaned and maintained with little trouble due to its stainless steel construction and front-located air filter on the self-aligning panel. Because the internal components are protected with an antimicrobial, bacteria growth is slowed between cleanings. Warranty history and service information can be accessed by scanning the unit’s included QR code.
