Hatco S-18 Description
The Hatco S-18 Imperial booster heater is designed to heat water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, which is required to sanitize wares in a commercial high-temperature dishwasher. This unit uses a powerful 18-kilowatt heating element and fiberglass insulation to quickly and efficiently raise and maintain the temperature of water. Built for safety, this heater has a high-limit cut-off switch that prevents overheating and a sensor that powers the machine down if it runs low on water.
Equipped with a storage capacity of 16 gallons, this unit has a tank with Castone® lining that prevents corrosion and resists buildup from dissolved minerals in the water supply. A built-in heat trap stops heat from escaping back into the water supply, and this Hatco S-18 water booster heater is wired at the factory for quick and convenient installation. Preset to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, the thermostat can be changed by removing the front cover and twisting the screw to the setting needed.
