Hatco 3CS-6 Description
To help improve manual dishwashing, the Hatco 3CS-6 sanitizing sink heater fits beneath sinks ranging from 19 inches wide to 21 inches wide. The 6 3⁄4-inch-wide by 16 7⁄8-inch-deep by 12 5⁄8-inch-high unit sports dual reservoirs, with one reservoir containing the submerged heating element and the other for collecting soil particles. These particles can be removed with the side drain to ensure smooth, ongoing operation. Designed to heat to 180 degrees Fahrenheit in 30 minutes, the heated rinse water upholds the industry standard. If the water gets too hot, an energy cut-off mechanism will deactivate the unit to prevent damaging effects, and water with less than 3 grains of hardness per gallon works best with the heater.
The Hatco 3CS-6 commercial sink heater’s front is made of durable stainless steel and has a power on/off toggle switch with a yellow indicator light for easy machine activation. The red light over-temp indicator warns the operator the unit needs to be refilled with water and reset for proper operation, and by mounting into the third compartment sink, it attaches into standard plumbing fittings.
