Hatco 3CS-6 Description
Ideal for sink units with widths ranging from 19 inches to 21 inches, the Hatco 3CS-6 sanitizing sink heater fits underneath the sink and into standard plumbing fittings to save space. Using a dual reservoir system, one part of the unit contains heating elements surrounded by water, while the other side collects sediment to ensure a clean operation. It has a 30-minute preheating period to reach 180 degrees Fahrenheit for sanitary dishwashing, and with continuous, clean rinse water, users can manually and conveniently wash dishware. Water with more than 3 grains of hardness per gallon should be treated and softened prior to use as it can decrease operation.
If water temperature is higher than normal, the Hatco 3CS-6 sink heater will activate its energy cut-off mechanism to prevent burns, while a red indicator light glows when the operator should refill and reset the unit. Users can simply turn the heater on with the power toggle switch, which signals the unit is on with a yellow light. The 6 3⁄4-inch-wide by 16 7⁄8-inch-deep by 12 5⁄8-inch-high heater has a durable stainless steel front and an efficient side drain for proper resetting and refilling.
