The Hatco 3CS2-3B Hydro-Heater sanitizing sink heater generates rinse water between 180 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit using free-flow technology, moving water through its heated tubular system. Heating elements wrapped around the flow tube's exterior heat water efficiently without being submerged in water, reducing the risk of damaging sediment and lime buildup. Once water is heated, it returns to the sink's holding vessel automatically due to natural convection. For efficient operation, a low-water cut-off system prevents heating when water levels drop unexpectedly. An electronic controller integrated on the unit's front maintains a temperature setpoint, eliminating the need for operators to adjust temperatures consistently.

Ideal for three- or four-compartment sinks, this Hatco 3CS2-3B sink heater measures 7 3⁄4 inches wide by 17 1⁄16 inches deep by 12 9⁄25 inches high and fits into a sink area as large as 15 inches wide by 15 inches deep. For efficiency, supply water must be 140 degrees Fahrenheit, and if it exceeds more than 3 grains of hardness per gallon, it must be treated and softened before use with this system. As debris builds up in its reservoir, it can be emptied through its drain outlet, which includes clean-out caps.
