To raise the temperature of rinse water to at least 180 degrees Fahrenheit for sanitary manual dishwashing, this Hatco 3CS2-3 Hydro-Heater sanitizing sink heater is designed for use with 140-degree-Fahrenheit incoming water temperature with fewer than 3 grains of hardness per gallon. This system draws in water from the sink, filters debris, and heats the water before recirculation. With its 7 3⁄4-inch-wide by 17 1⁄16-inch-deep by 12 9⁄25-inch-high design, it can be installed into a 15-inch by 15-inch sink area at most, and it's compatible with three- or four-compartment pot and pan sinks or bar sinks. To simplify installation into the base's center, it includes all necessary internal plumbing and wiring. Its stainless steel front resists wear, rust, and corrosion, while its black powder-coated body can be wiped clean whenever needed.

To produce and maintain rinse water between 180 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, Hatco 3CS2-3 sanitizing sink heater's free-flow technology works with electronic controls and natural convection to produce hot water. The electronic controller maintains operators' desired set temperature so users don't have to adjust and manage temperatures repeatedly. Heating elements wrapped around the flow tube's exterior help reduce lime and sediment buildup for efficient operation over time. If water levels drop unexpectedly, the low-water cut-off system prevents the unit from operating. Operators can expel water with debris from the convenient drain outlet, which includes clean-out caps.
