The Hamilton Beach HBF500S Expeditor™ countertop blender is very versatile and can blend, puree, emulsify, grind, and chop ingredients. When blending or emulsifying ingredients, the top's dosing cup works great for adding liquids to achieve the right consistency. For tough ingredients, the chop function alternates between a low and high speed to break down the food. Employees can choose the chop's fast speed setting on the speed dial, which is also used to choose a constant blend speed for variable speed mode. After blending is finished, users can remove the top, grab the container's handle, and pour the blended product into a separate container.

The Hamilton Beach HBF500S food blender's container is made of stainless steel—a material resistant to rusting, scratching, and denting. Its blending blades are also stainless steel, which ensures they can cut through ingredients effortlessly. Because their drive coupling is constructed entirely of metal, they can withstand heavy use.
