Once the mold is filled with water, it takes about 48 to 72 hours to freeze the water in the mold and with the Exclusive EZ-Cut Bead&trade and the Contracting Cone Base&trade, you have an easy opening system and this base allows for expansion while freezing to eliminate the major cause of cracking and breaking in the freezing process.
