Carlisle 4037800 Description
The Carlisle 4037800 Sparta Meteor® basting brush is excellent for brushing butter over croissants and egg wash onto pie crust. Its boar-hair bristles are water resistant and have been bleached for sanitation. A hole in the end of the handle can be used to hang the pastry brush for storage, and a hook on its side prevents the brush from falling into pots.

Can't go wrong
I use this brush for everything from garlic toast to BBQ on the grill. The hook keeps the brush from sliding down the bowl, as well as mashing the bristles. I used this type of brush for many years when i was in the restaurant biz. I missed having items like this and all the little helpers we had. I was glad to find them.
