The InSinkErator SS-500-18A-MS disposer pack's built-in thermal overload protection helps prevent motor damage, while a controlled airflow system keeps temperatures in check for consistent performance. The 18-inch-diameter bowl includes a 6 5⁄8-inch inlet, removable splash baffle, and reversible cover for flexible use. The triple lip seal and secondary spring-loaded oil seal safeguard the motor against water intrusion and grease loss.
