InSinkErator SS-1000-6-CC101 Description
The InSinkErator SS-1000-6-CC101 disposer package comes with a syphon breaker, solenoid valve, flow control valve, and a programmable CC101 control panel offering reversing, timed run, and post flush modes. Built for trough installation, it uses a No. 6 collar adaptor and a 6 5⁄8-inch diameter inlet. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel grind chamber is paired with stationary and rotating shredding elements made of nickel chrome alloy, configured for reverse-action grinding to prolong component life. Power comes from a 10-horsepower induction motor operating at 1,725 RPM, housed in a fully enclosed casing that resists moisture and uses internal airflow cooling alongside thermal overload protection. To reduce operational shock, the unit incorporates double-tapered Timken roller bearings, while a triple-lip seal and spring-loaded oil seal help keep water and grease out of the motor. A chrome-plated, paint-free exterior and a 3⁄4-inch rubber mounting with chrome-plated covers add durability and sanitation benefits.
