Powered by a 10-horsepower induction motor running at 1,725 RPM, the InSinkErator SS-1000-6-CC101 disposer delivers consistent performance in demanding settings. The unit is configured for trough installation with a No. 6 collar adaptor and a 6 5⁄8-inch inlet. Engineered for demanding waste-processing tasks, the disposer combines a programmable CC101 control panel with essential installation components, including a syphon breaker, solenoid valve, and flow control valve. The unit’s corrosion-resistant stainless steel grind chamber contains nickel chrome alloy stationary and rotating shredding elements set for reverse-action grinding to prolong service life. Double-tapered Timken roller bearings limit vibration and mechanical strain, while a triple-lip seal and a spring-loaded oil seal work together to guard the motor against water and grease penetration. Its exterior is chrome plated and paint free to support long-term sanitation.
