InSinkErator SS-1000-6-AS101 Description
Configured for trough installation, the InSinkErator SS-1000-6-AS101 disposer package uses a No. 6 collar adaptor and has a 6 5⁄8-inch inlet. Double-tapered Timken roller bearings help stabilize operation, while a triple-lip seal and secondary spring-loaded oil seal safeguard the motor from water and grease intrusion. A 10-horsepower induction motor runs at 1,725 RPM and is enclosed to resist external moisture, with integrated thermal overload protection and airflow cooling to maintain efficiency. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel grind chamber is paired with a chrome-plated, paint-free exterior for sanitation. Nickel chrome alloy stationary and rotating shredding components are positioned for reverse-action grinding to extend service life. The package includes a programmable AS101 control panel for timed run, post flush, reversing, and water-saving functions, along with two syphon breakers, two solenoid valves, and two flow control valves.
