InSinkErator SS-1000-6-AS101 Description
Constructed of stainless steel with a chrome-plated, paint-free exterior, the InSinkErator SS-1000-6-AS101 2303 disposer package resists corrosion and maintains sanitation in continuous-use applications. Inside the grind chamber, stationary and rotating shredding components are made of nickel chrome alloy and configured for reverse-action grinding to extend service life. A 10-horsepower induction motor operates at 1,725 RPM and is fully enclosed to protect against outside moisture, with integrated thermal overload protection and internal airflow cooling. Designed for trough installation, the unit uses a No. 6 collar adaptor and features a 6 5⁄8-inch inlet. The package includes a programmable AS101 control panel with timed run, post flush, automatic reversing, and water-saving modes, along with two syphon breakers, two solenoid valves, and two flow control valves. Double-tapered Timken roller bearings provide operational stability, and a triple-lip seal with a spring-loaded oil seal helps protect the motor from grease and water intrusion.
