The InSinkErator SS-1000-6-AS101 2083 disposer package includes a programmable AS101 control panel to manage timed run, post flush, automatic reversing, and water-saving functions. Designed for trough installation, the unit features a No. 6 collar adaptor, 6 5⁄8-inch inlet, and sleeve guard. Stainless steel construction with a chrome-plated, paint-free finish promotes sanitation and resists corrosion in heavy-use environments. Nickel chrome alloy shredding elements, mounted in a stainless steel grind chamber, are engineered for reverse-action grinding to extend component life. Internal safeguards include a triple-lip seal and spring-loaded oil seal to protect the motor, along with double-tapered Timken roller bearings that help absorb mechanical shock. A 10-horsepower induction motor runs at 1,725 RPM inside a fully enclosed, moisture-resistant housing with thermal overload protection and internal airflow cooling. Package includes two syphon breakers, two solenoid valves, and two flow control valves.
