APW Wyott HFW-5D Description
With E-Z locks on all sides, the APW Wyott HFW-5D drop-in hot food well can be installed in a wood or metal counter. The control box works best when front mounted so it's accessible to staff. Each of the five wells is controlled individually, with its own heat knob and pilot light. These wells accommodate full-size steam pans and can be used wet—with a shallow bottom layer of water—or dry with no liquid.
The APW Wyott HFW-5D drop-in wells are made of rust-resistant stainless steel on the inside and have drains to release water at the end of the day. Removable mesh screens go on each drain opening, preventing food particles from clogging the pipes. For energy efficiency, S-shaped elements evenly heat the well bottoms and a layer of insulation under the wells retains heat. This well has securely fixed elements and aluminized housing to endure heavy use.
