Metro C587-SFS-L Description
Because this 3⁄4-height Metro C587-SFS-L C5™ 8 series controlled temperature holding cabinet is mounted on 5-inch casters, it can be moved as needed for cleaning or maintenance. It measures 29 1⁄8 inches wide by 32 5⁄8 inches deep by 62 3⁄4 inches high and is made of durable, corrosion- and rust-resistant stainless steel. Inside the cabinet, lip-load wire slides accommodate (27) 18-inch by 26-inch sheet pans. The unit's reach-in configuration enables direct access to the cabinet's contents, while the double-panel, fully insulated solid door helps minimize temperature fluctuations when it's opened for short periods of time.
The Metro C587-SFS-L holding cabinet's holding temperatures range between 70 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate a range of prepared foods. To ensure products don't dry out, users can implement the integral water pan system, which creates passive humidity in the cabinet's environment. Solid-state controls regulate temperatures via the continuous closed-loop monitoring system, while temperature readouts are displayed on the top-mounted controls. A low-temperature alarm will alert operators when the temperature drops rapidly, and operators can program frequent temperature settings with the recall and memory button.
